Meet Nabil Adam
Dr. Nabil Adam is a Distinguished Professor and healthcare technology and cybersecurity expert who has extensive experience in the areas of personalized medicine, clinical informatics, and machine learning.
Over the course of his career, he has been able to travel the world and provide his expertise at various international conferences and workshops. He has also written over 200 publications and is a tenured faculty member at Rutgers University. He is also dedicated to mentoring Ph.D. students.
Through his academic achievements, Dr. Nabil Adam has been able to gain a wide range of professional and personal leadership opportunities. After graduating from Cairo University with a degree in engineering, he pursued his MA, MPhil, and Ph.D. from Columbia University.
Most of his career has been spent as a Distinguished Professor at Rutgers University. He is able to split his time between international conferences and editorial appointments. He also regularly gives talks and runs initiatives.
Although he mainly focuses on cybersecurity topics, he is still highly sought after by the medical community due to his expertise in the field of biology and medicine. He has also established various initiatives that are focused on improving the quality of life. Through his various initiatives, he has been able to raise over $20 million in grants for research purposes.
In addition to his academic work, Nabil Adam has also been able to supplement his teaching and research duties by working for government agencies such as NASA and the US Department of Homeland Security. For four years, he was able to serve as a Research Fellow at NASA’s Center of Excellence in Space Data and Information Sciences. His goal was to develop a comprehensive computer science research program that would eventually be applicable to both the earth sciences and space.
As a leader, he has been able to continuously bring excellence to his work. His mastery of various subjects, such as medicine, cybersecurity, and information systems, has earned him numerous awards and commendations. He will continue to apply himself in this manner for the duration of his career.
